Guiding Lights, the UK film industry’s leading mentoring scheme, is now welcoming applications from eligible directors, writer, producers and exhibition professionals.

Funded by Creative Skillset with additional support from Film Hub South East, Guiding Lights offers successful applicants nine months of one-on-one mentor support from established film industry professionals, as well as invitations to industry training and networking events. Previous mentors have included Danny Boyle, Sam Mendes, Barbara Broccoli, Alex Garland, Kenneth Branagh, Alison Owen, Joanna Hogg and Nick Hornby.

The seventh round of the scheme is due to launch in July. Those interested in being considered should apply by 5pm on Wednesday, 18 March.
