Housed in a converted brewery building, Modern Art Oxford has a significant history as a key venue for visual arts that stretches back to the 70s when it hosted exhibitions by Richard Long, Sol De Witt and Joseph Beuys under directors Peter Ibsen and Nicholas Serota.
Keeping up that tradition, it has continued over the last decade to present vibrant work by major international artists, including exhibitions by Tracey Emin, Jake and Dinos Chapman, Stella Vine and Monica Bonvicini.
